Triple Oak Vineyard was just awarded a Gold Medal for our Red Oak Blend at the Oregon Wine Experience in Jacksonville. Given the expertise of the judges and the breadth of the competition we were more than pleased. We were honored to pour the wine at their Grand Finale along with all the other Gold medal winners.

2014 Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir is full bodied with strong acidity, a floral nose and flavors of warm spices. The very warm year yielded 1.5 tons and was 25 brix at harvest. We made 75 cases in addition to a barrel we blended into the Red Oak. This is our favorite wine for making into a hot mulled wine during the holidays or any cold winter night.
This rich wine has bold tannins and has softened with age. The strong acidity suggests that it can cellar for many years. This was a very warm year with a record yield which made 145 cases in addition to two barrels we used to blend into the Red Oak. With the high yield and the 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages coming along we put the 2014 on sale at $16 / bottle which represents a 33% discount.
2014 Red Oak
This award winning red wine is a blend of our Tempranillo and Pinot Noir. It exemplifies the richness of the Tempranillo and the fruitiness of the Pinot Noir. Rich and smooth it is an easy drinking yet complex wine that goes with most foods. Awards: Oregon Wine Experience Gold
Misty Oaks Blonduo
Not available anywhere else. Blonduo is a combination of Misty Oaks two vineyard blonds, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. They were blended to create Misty Oaks vineyard's first white wine blend. Fresh, fruity, and ready to welcome the sun! Heady scents of honeydew, nectarine, lemon zest, and fragrant white flowers. The mouth is full of summer with cut grass, kumquat, lime, and pineapple. Cleansing acidity seals the deal with lingering freshness. A great summer sipper or pair with salads and seafood.
2010 and 2011 Tempranillo
These were cool wet years but they yielded award winning Tempranillo; Gold and platinum medals from the professional judges at the Greatest of the Grape. The grape skins are tough so they resist botrytis and we could let them hang through the cool wet fall until they were ripe and the acids had softened. The 2010 vintage yielded our first ever medal; a Gold at the Greatest of the Grape. There are three cases of 2010 remaining. The 2011 received the highest award; the Platinum. There are a few bottles remaining. Harvested 1.4 tons on 10/19 at 22.7 brix. Awards 2010: Greatest of the Grape Gold Awards 2011: Greatest of the Grape Platinum
This dark, smooth Tempranillo has received high accolades from the Oregon Tempranillo Alliance and two medals including gold from the Women’s International Wine Competition. Comments are: “Lovely clarity and compelling aromatics. Powerful aromatic with dark fruits, lush and fruit driven on the palate with black cherry, mulberry and a touch of savory spice. 2016 Pico Tempranillo
This wine is a blend of Tempranillo with just enough Viognier to give it a rich, rounded flavor with a fruit forward nose. Pico is short for Picotin, which is another name for Viognier and Pico means peak in Spanish; for what we believe is the peak of perfection. The wine was aged a year in French oak barrels. With crisp red fruit, vanilla, and plum this wine pairs well with Mediterranean and rich or savory dishes.
This Tempranillo was judged at the Oregon Tempranillo Alliance with the descriptors: Dark garnet in color, this wine aromas are of cherry and plum and a bit of cedar. In the mouth, bright cherry and cedar flavors have a light cola and mocha note to them and are bouncy with excellent acidity. A nice cola note lingers in the finish. Faint tannins gain strength as the wine lingers on the palate. This is very easy to drink. The well-integrated oak stays very unobtrusive in the wine. 2015 Red Oak
The Red Oak wine is a unique blend of our signature Tempranillo and Pinot Noir grapes. The Pinot Noir contributes the fruitiness and softens the tannins while the Tempranillo provides the rich body, yielding a smooth, fruit forward wine with hints of spice. Deep ruby in color, with soft tannins and flavors of blackberry, plum, and spices, it can be sipped alone or paired with most any food. 2016 Red Oak
This is our signature blend of Tempranillo and Pinot Noir, usually 60% to 40% respectively. This wine has characteristics very similar to the 2015, continuing our tradition of smooth and rich with the fruity nose of the Pinot and the richness of the Tempranillo.
2015 Pinot Noir
This is our favorite Pinot Noir since our 2012 vintage. The 2012 received a silver medal from the professional judges at Greatest of the Grape. It is rich, smooth and dark; exemplifying Pinots of southern Oregon. The Dijon 777 clone of Pinot Noir grapes were aged a year in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels. It has a deep garnet color with a raspberry nose, flavors of red fruit, plum, cloves and warm spices. It has good acidity soft tannins, great mouth feel, and a moderately long finish. It is a full-bodied Pinot that pairs well with roasted poultry, light meat dishes, or salmon. Awards: Greatest of the Grape Silver
2016 Pinot Noir
This dark but bright Pinot looks to be following in the footsteps of the 2015. It can be consumed now or held for a couple of years to develop more of the rich character of southern Oregon Pinots. This one we did submit to the Women’s International Wine Competition where it received a gold medal. This is especially gratifying since there were hundreds of Pinot Noirs submitted. 2016 Bella Bianca
Bella Bianca is a light, off-dry, and crisp white wine blend for Oregon grapes. This blend of white grapes showcase some of the best that Oregon can produce. Enjoy this wine by itself or with appetizers and light fare.
2016 Misty Oaks Pinot Blanc
Available only at Triple Oaks Wine Vault! A light and clean wine, Pinot Blanc appears delicate, yet has its own layered complexity and richness. An aromatic, fruity, and balanced white, pair with mild cheese, Dungeness crab or creamy pasta dishes.
2017 Brandborg Coastal Cuvee
This white wine blend from some of Oregon's oldest cool climate vineyards has been crafted for hedonistic enjoyment. Take a sip and let your mind take you to your favorite sand, surf, and sun destination. This wine is crisp, fragrant, quaffable, a vacation in your glass.
2018 Foon Rose of Malbec
Estate produced by Foon Estate in the Umpqua Valley. The wine emanates scents and flavors of strawberry, framboise and rhubarb with a hint of cinnamon. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy and the finish pleasantly bright and acidic. Pair this with cheese, fruit, brined grilled pork loin, chicken, fish or lamb.
Made from the Duero clone of Tempranillo, this wine was aged a year in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Deep ruby in color, with medium tannins, it has a leather and blackberry nose, flavors of blackberry, tart cherry and a hint of giner. It is a luscious example of Spain's noble red wine. 2017 Pinot Noir
Light garnet in color, with a raspberry nose, flavors of red fruit, plum, cloves, and spices. It has good acidity, soft tannins, great mouth feel, and a moderately long finish. It is a medium-bodied Pinot that pairs well with roasted poultry, light meat dishes, or salmon. Awards: Women's International Wine Competition Bronze
2017 Red Oak

2015 Foon Malbec
The Foon Estate Vineyard Malbec is notable for satisfyingly deep color, excellent structure, moderate alcohol content, restrained, soft tannins and recognizable Malbec aromas and flavors. The wines are fruit forward and well developed with smooth texture and mouthfeel and food flattering acidity. Expect flavors of blackberry, ripe damson plums, tobacco, raisins and an earthy quality with developing smokiness and a subtle hint of bacon accenting a long mid-palate finish. Try a glass with a well-aged rib-eye steak fortified by a classic Argentinian chimichurri.
